NEW SEASON TRAINING STARTS ON SATURDAY 21ST AUGUST.
UNOFFICIAL THURSDAY TRAINING WILL CONTINUE FOR ANYONE WANTING TO COME ALONG ALL SUMMER.
Team training is usually twice weekly on a Thursday and a Saturday. Training is a mixture of fitness, rugby skills and tactics. Training is varied to keep it exciting and is adapted to meet the needs of the team and skills of the training members.
Meet just inside the east gate of Inverleith Park (opposite the West Gate of the Botanic Gardens) at 6.30pm. Training starts at 6.45pm and will last about an hour but increasing to 90 mins as it gets lighter.
Please note there are NO showers or changing facilities at Inverleith Park, so please arrive ready changed.

Meet at Waterloo Place (east end of Princes St. About half way up past the Council building on the north side) for lifts leaving at 11.30pm prompt. Or you can make your own way to Cavalry Park (home of Portobello RFC). Parking, changing facilities and showers available. Everyone will be changed and ready to start at 12pm sharp. The session includes various skills, drills along with general fitness and will finish around 2pm. Afterward most retire to the New Town Bar for some well earned food and drink.

Voluntary training to boost fitness happens ad-hoc on a Tuesday when numbers and necessity allow. If you want to do some extra training then speak to the coach or some of the other players at training and organise it.
