The Caledonian Thebans is Scotland's gay rugby club. Started in 2002, the club recruit members and supporters from all over Scotland and provides a safe, fun and non-judgemental platform for the training and promotion of rugby. Although we are often referred to as the "gay rugby club" we welcome all players from all walks of life regardless of age, experience or sexual orientation.
The Thebans have a range of players with different levels of fitness and rugby experience. Our training sessions are designed to teach newcomers the basics, advance experienced players and improve an individual's fitness levels.
The welcoming approach the club has is perfect for new players and a real team spirit makes it a great way to meet new friends.
